Key Responsibilities- Perform, evaluate, and report technical laboratory procedures on patient specimens.
- Follow established procedures to ensure laboratory quality control and compliance with professional standards of practice.
- Accurately and appropriately test specimens received in the laboratory, according to established laboratory protocol and procedures.
- Serve as a resource to laboratory staff and other clinical staff as needed.
- Effectively manage resources such as productivity, supplies, instruments, and equipment.
- Medical Laboratory Scientist Program (Required)
- Clinical Lab Supervisor License (SU LICENSE) - State of Florida (FL)
- Clinical Lab Technologist License (TN LICENSE) - State of Florida (FL)
This role requires working in a fast-paced laboratory environment with exposure to biological hazards, hazardous chemicals, and moving mechanical parts.
