Job Title: Community Representative for Au Pair Program

Job Description

The Community Representative for Au Pair Program is responsible for promoting the Au Pair in America program and supporting host family/au pair relationships within their assigned geographic cluster area. This role involves monitoring host families and au pairs' adherence to program policies and regulations, as well as providing guidance and support to ensure a smooth and successful experience for all parties involved.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Attend a comprehensive training program to gain a thorough understanding of the Au Pair in America program and the Community Representative role.
  2. Communicate regularly with host families and au pairs to ensure their needs are met and to provide support and guidance as needed.
  3. Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to ensure host families and au pairs are meeting program requirements and to identify areas for improvement.
  4. Provide education and training to host families and au pairs on program policies and regulations, as well as cultural adaptation and cross-cultural communication.
  5. Market the Au Pair in America program in the cluster community through various activities, including social media, community events, and networking.
  6. Collaborate with the Regional Program Manager to ensure compliance with program policies and regulations and to address any issues or concerns that may arise.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as communications, intercultural exchange, education, social work, or family counseling.
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience in a related field, preferably with international study, work, or cultural immersion experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to customer service and satisfaction.
  • Proficiency in computer software and technology, including data management systems and social media platforms.
