Job Summary:

The ServiceNow System Architect will work with developers, administrators, architects, and the user community to develop best practice ServiceNow coding and development standards. This role drives the overall architecture of development and design on the platform to ensure the highest quality and standardization.

Maintaining all LLUH ServiceNow environments based on development best practices and leading all upgrades of the platform are key responsibilities. Developing applications, forms, and advanced development requiring client and server-side scripting are also essential duties.

Participating in user acceptance testing and Scrum meetings, following documentation best practice policies, procedures, and process through ServiceNow development are also key responsibilities.

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Development, Information Systems, or related field is preferred. Minimum ten years of experience in information technology and minimum five years of experience in technical implementation, administration, maintenance, and enhancements of the entire ServiceNow platform are required.

Broad knowledge and understanding of computer hardware, applications, network, and operating systems, as well as knowledge and understanding of related Information Technology trends are necessary.

Strong knowledge of project management software such as MS Project, Access, and other project management tools for task tracking and team collaboration efforts are also required.

Excellent planning, problem-solving, analysis, documentation, presentation, and organization skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively in English in person, in writing, and on the telephone are essential.

ServiceNow Certified System Administrator or Certified Application Developer certification is required within one year of employment.
