Job Title: Prior Authorization Team Lead

At Cloud Rx Pharmacy, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Prior Authorization Team Lead to join our team. As a key member of our pharmacy operations team, you will be responsible for leading and managing the daily operations of our pharmacy technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and guide a team of pharmacy technicians to ensure they perform their duties efficiently and effectively.
  • Collaborate with HR and relevant departments to manage payroll processes for the pharmacy technician team.
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve and exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) for the pharmacy technician team.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and mentorship to pharmacy technicians to support their professional growth and enhance their skills.
  • Act as an escalation point for patient and client-related issues, ensuring prompt resolution and exceptional customer service.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, fostering strong relationships and addressing any concerns or inquiries promptly.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred).
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) license or equivalent certification.
  • Proven experience as a pharmacy technician with a record of excellence in the role.
  • Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory position is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Proficient computer skills, including experience with pharmacy software systems.
