We are seeking highly motivated and dedicated Substitute Assistant Teachers to join our team at CIFC's Danbury Early Learning Programs. As a Substitute Assistant Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years old.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist classrooms in maintaining routines, curriculum, meals, and related activities.
  • Work under the direction of the Substitute Coordinator and a daily classroom Teacher.
  • Provide support to children in a variety of settings, including planned staff vacations and day-of, unplanned coverage needs.

Requirements:

  • Be 18 years or older.
  • Have a high school diploma or GED equivalence (preferred).
  • Have some childcare or preschool experience; motivated candidates without experience are also encouraged to apply.
