Job Title: Civil Engineer - Water/Wastewater Project Manager

Summary:

BGE, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our Public Works department in a Project Manager role. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading water and wastewater utility projects from planning to completion.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage water and wastewater utility projects, including planning, design, and construction
  • Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets
  • Collaborate with project managers, senior staff, and clients to ensure project success
  • Oversee the work of engineers, designers, and technicians to ensure high-quality deliverables
  • Conduct feasibility studies, design water and wastewater facilities, and prepare project reports
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering or related field
  • Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Texas required
  • 5+ years of experience in water and wastewater project management
  • Strong leadership and project management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and water modeling software
  • Experience with GIS and hydraulic modeling software preferred
