Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Ascension Providence Hospital in Southfield, MI. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to patients, working closely with physicians to aid in the diagnosis of medical problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, selecting exposure factors accurately to ensure high-quality images.
  • Administer contrast media and medications within the scope of practice and applicable regulations.
  • Monitor patient safety during procedures and report any abnormalities.
  • Recommend updates to imaging protocols as needed.
  • Ensure radiation safety procedures are followed, minimizing patient exposure.
  • Submit high-quality images and documents to PACS in a timely manner.
  • Perform routine equipment maintenance and report any malfunctions.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized department.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire.
  • ARRT certification in Radiography within 12 months of hire.
  • High school diploma or equivalent with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree within 6 months of hire.
