Key Responsibilities:
The Clinical Area Manager (CAM) plays a pivotal role in driving growth in prescription referrals and sales within designated healthcare facilities, including physician offices and local clinics. This position involves engaging in consultative sales through direct interactions with clients, patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals. Responsibilities include:
- Conducting in-person sales visits to physicians, respiratory therapists, and other stakeholders within the assigned territory, focusing on educating them about our innovative therapy solutions.
- Analyzing referral trends to prioritize opportunities and optimize territory management through effective planning.
- Building and nurturing strong relationships with key referral sources to enhance referral volumes and ensure that their needs are met through our advanced technology and services.
- Utilizing consultative selling techniques to identify and engage new referral sources, uncovering competitive insights based on unmet needs.
- Completing necessary documentation, including expense reports and sales forecasts, in a timely manner while collaborating closely with management and cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
- 2-4 years of experience in medical sales, with a solid understanding of the healthcare landscape.
- Experience in airway clearance therapy is advantageous but not mandatory.
- A valid driver’s license is required.
- Demonstrated commitment to the company’s sales processes and a proven track record in consultative selling.
- Strong skills in account planning and achieving referral targets.
- Willingness to travel up to 40% for business needs.
- This role is remote and requires the candidate to reside within the designated territory.
