Job Summary and Qualifications:
This role supports the mission of Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children by enhancing the quality of life for all patients, focusing on their holistic needs. The NICU II Nurse is responsible for overseeing and directing the care of neonatal patients, particularly those who are premature or critically ill.
The NICU II Nurse will:
- Serve as the primary nurse, leading the collaboration of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
- Oversee and direct the care provided by assistive personnel, maintaining final accountability for the care given to assigned patients.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor when necessary.

Qualifications:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- NRP or PALS certification required within the first three months of hire.
- Registered Nurse with one year of acute care experience preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school; BSN preferred.
