About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Anesthesia Technician to join our team at Doctors Hospital of Laredo. As a key member of our anesthesia department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of anesthesia care to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide safe and competent care to patients undergoing anesthesia procedures
  • Assist anesthesiologists and certified registered nurse anesthetists (CRNAs) with patient preparation, anesthesia administration, and post-anesthesia care
  • Operate and maintain anesthesia equipment, including ventilators, monitors, and infusion pumps
  • Prepare and maintain anesthesia supplies, including medications, gases, and equipment
  • Collaborate with the anesthesia team to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred
  • Two years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in anesthesia or a related field
  • BLS certification required; other certifications may be required depending on the unit
  • Bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred
