We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale multifamily construction projects from planning through completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing multifamily residential projects, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven ability to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Project Planning and Development: Oversee all phases of project planning, including scope definition, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation. Collaborate with preconstruction and design teams to ensure project goals align with client expectations and company standards.
- Leadership and Team Management: Lead and manage project teams, including project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and support staff. Ensure effective communication, coordination, and collaboration among all team members and stakeholders.
- Budget and Cost Management: Develop and manage project budgets, track costs, and implement cost control measures. Review and approve all project-related financial documents, including invoices, change orders, and purchase orders.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all construction work meets project specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress and quality and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Client and Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders. Provide regular updates on project status, address concerns, and manage client expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines, budgets, and quality. Proactively address any issues that arise during construction to avoid delays and cost overruns.
- Safety Management: Promote and enforce a strong safety culture on all job sites. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies through regular safety meetings and inspections.
- Scheduling and Coordination: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring all milestones are met. Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and daily progress reports. Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Project Manager, with a focus on multifamily residential construction.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale multifamily projects, such as apartment complexes, mixed-use developments, or high-rise buildings.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, methods, and industry standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project) and MS Office Suite.
- PMP or other relevant project management certification is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
