Job Summary:

This position performs a variety of diagnostic cardiac/vascular exams under the direction of a physician for identification of abnormalities leading to patient diagnosis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic cardiac/vascular exams using ultrasound technology.
  • Identify and document abnormalities in patient exams.
  • Communicate exam results to physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient exams.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure quality patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with latest imaging technologies and techniques.

Requirements:

  • ARDMS, ARRT or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.
  • Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
  • One of three national registry credentials through ARDMS, ARRT, or CCI as applicable to the department.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
