Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Vascular Sonographer to join our team at Intermountain Healthcare. As a Diagnostic Cardiac Technician, you will play a critical role in performing diagnostic cardiac/vascular exams under the direction of a physician. Your expertise will help identify abnormalities leading to patient diagnosis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic cardiac/vascular exams using ultrasound technology
  • Coordinate exams with medical staff, physician offices, and other caregivers
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during exams
  • Accurately document exam results and other necessary information
  • Clean and maintain equipment and work area
Requirements
  • ARDMS, ARRT, or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography
  • Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
  • One of three national registry credentials through ARDMS, ARRT, or CCI as applicable to the department
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
Work Environment

This position is located at our Mesquite Clinic and requires frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors. You will need to be able to stand for extended periods, lift and move patients, and navigate crowded rooms.
