Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough initial evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments, taking into account their unique needs and goals.
- Administer a range of therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, exercise programs, and modalities, to promote optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure the best possible results.
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, injury prevention, and overall wellness strategies, empowering them to take an active role in their care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and staff to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care, fostering a positive and supportive team environment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with clinic policies and legal requirements, ensuring seamless communication and continuity of care.
- Stay current with advancements in physical therapy practices through ongoing professional development, applying new knowledge and skills to enhance patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Doctoral or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Valid Connecticut State Physical Therapist License.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong clinical skills and a thorough understanding of physical therapy principles, with a focus on patient-centered care.
