Responsibilities
  • Read and follow plans to ensure accurate installation and repair
  • Install, maintain, and repair existing equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Determine the condition of equipment, troubleshoot malfunctions, and determine needed repairs to minimize downtime
  • Identify materials and quantities needed for new and repair projects to ensure efficient use of resources
  • Follow established processes and procedures to maintain a safe and clean working environment
  • Provide excellent customer service by walking them through new or updated equipment to ensure proper use
  • Maintain a safe working environment by wearing proper PPE and following safety procedures
Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience installing, testing, and terminating fiber, Cat 5, Cat5E, Cat 6, and Cat 6A
  • Excellent customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for all customers
  • Physical ability to lift heavy objects as necessary to perform job duties
  • Proficiency in navigating iPad-based technology to streamline work processes
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex issues
  • Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions and tight spaces
