Job Overview

Salary: $16.50

We are seeking skilled forklift operators for B and C shifts.

Shift B: Monday - Thursday 6:00pm - 6:00am (includes a $4.00 shift differential).

Shift C: Friday - Sunday 6:00am - 6:00pm (includes a $4.00 shift differential).

Key Responsibilities:

The primary objective is to operate efficiently while adhering to established procedures, instructions, and quality standards within the designated contract area.

  • Operate forklifts and other powered lifting equipment.
  • Unload materials and goods from incoming transport and organize them in designated locations.
  • Locate and transfer stock to pallets or crates for storage or dispatch.
  • Identify and report any damages, shortages, or quality issues.
  • Transport raw materials to production areas.
  • Inspect equipment to assess repair needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of production and material usage.
  • Adhere to company policies and legal regulations.
  • Perform various production tasks, including palletizing, case packing, blending, and sanitation duties.
  • Maintain a pace that meets production demands.
  • Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and hygiene standards.
  • Understand and follow verbal and written instructions, and accept constructive feedback.
  • Work across multiple production areas as required.
  • Follow safety protocols and contribute to a safe work environment.
  • Communicate production needs effectively to supervisors and peers.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 15 pounds regularly.
  • Possess visual acuity to evaluate quality and material integrity.
  • Some tasks may require lifting up to 60 pounds and working at heights.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
Qualifications:
  • Completion of a Vocational Rehabilitation Program, High School diploma/GED, or relevant work experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience operating powered forklifts.
  • Successful completion of forklift operation training.
