Role Overview:

Bay Home Medical is seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Care Technician to join our team. As a key member of our respiratory care team, you will be responsible for qualifying orders for pap equipment and scheduling service appointments with patients.

In this role, you will perform equipment setup and education, obtain necessary insurance information to process third-party billing, and communicate with referral sources and sleep labs to obtain documentation needed to process patient orders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Qualify orders for pap equipment and supplies
  • Schedule service appointments with patients
  • Perform equipment setup and education
  • Communicate with referral sources and sleep labs
  • Obtain necessary insurance information to process third-party billing

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Prior Customer Service Experience preferred; DME knowledge helpful
  • Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills, interpersonal and problem-solving skills, excellent customer service, ability to use a computer equivalent to position

Estimated Salary: $58,000 - $68,000 per year
