Job Description

The Verve Hotel - Boston Natick is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Complex Senior Sales Manager to join their Sales team.

This role is responsible for securing groups and conventions by building and establishing relationships with customers. The ideal candidate will be well-rounded and business-minded, with a strong ability to analyze historical, current, and future hotel and market trends.

The Complex Senior Sales Manager will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Researching and soliciting new leads for group opportunities through database research and proactive sales efforts, maximizing new room revenue streams.
  • Representing the hotel in the development of market segment(s) and new customer relationships, while maintaining existing relations with assigned accounts.
  • Developing a business strategy by analyzing historical, current, and future hotel and market trends, implementing marketing initiatives to capture the maximum amount of lead revenue to meet and exceed sales goals.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of Hotel Sales experience, with previous experience in Hotel Group Sales. They will also have strong sales, communication, and networking skills, with the ability to demonstrate a deep understanding of customer needs and apply a disciplined approach to qualify, negotiate, and secure new revenue for the hotel.

The Verve Hotel - Boston Natick offers a competitive compensation package, including a salary of $75,000-$85,000 plus incentive, comprehensive health insurance coverage, career growth and development opportunities, and a go Hilton travel discount program with 100 nights of discounted travel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer and Account Management - Apply strong sales skills to create customer value, differentiate our hotels from the competition, and bring clear value to customers and the organizations they represent.
  • Prospecting - Demonstrate a mastery of the prospecting process, identify potential customers, prepare and implement your call strategy.
  • Negotiations - Understand the customer and the business leaders' expectations, adapt to a changing market.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree, preferred.
  • Minimum Years of Experience: Minimum of 7 years of Hotel Sales experience.
  • Previous Hotel Group Sales experience.
  • Additional Requirements: Ability to travel on short notice and adaptable to schedule changes.
  • Highly professional presentations and oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience in managing/using sales automation and PMS Systems, preferred.
