Graduate from an accredited Nursing School.
Possession of a current and valid state license for Registered Nurse.
Must hold an active CPR certification.
Knowledgeable about state-specific laws and regulations governing nursing practice.
Completion of initial and ongoing clinical competencies as required by the role.
A background check, security clearance, and drug screening are prerequisites for this position.

As a Registered Nurse (RN) with YesCare, your responsibilities will include:
Responding to and initiating care for medical emergencies within the facility, including the ability to perform continuous CPR until relieved.
Administering and documenting medications accurately on the Medication Administration Record. Documenting all nursing care provided.
Conducting health assessments and physical examinations on inmates. Evaluating patient health status and referring to the appropriate healthcare provider. Assisting Physicians during patient examinations and treatments. Implementing and following up on verbal and written orders from Physicians/Dentists.
Providing healthcare education to patients and correctional staff.
Collecting samples, specimens, and cultures as per Physician orders.
Adhering to safety and security protocols and participating in disaster drills. Following security regulations for keys, sharps, and controlled substances. Complying with Universal Precautions and other infection control practices.
Performing venipuncture and IV therapy.
Following standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
Other duties as assigned by management.
