Job Summary:

The Painter will be responsible for coating surface parts, assembling and finishing products with protective or decorative materials such as paint, varnish, enamel, lacquer, dope, or stain using spray guns. This role requires strong attention to detail, ability to work in a team environment, and adherence to safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Select and apply the correct coating materials to meet job requirements.
  • Identify and coat areas inaccessible to hand sprayers.
  • Troubleshoot and repair paint guns as needed.
  • Run ovens as required.
  • Conduct visual inspections of masking on parts to ensure consistency and identify damaged products.
  • Complete necessary paperwork and documentation.
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Experience with gravity spray guns and troubleshooting.
  • Previous experience in the aerospace industry or automotive repair is a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members at all levels.

Physical Demands:

  • Prolonged walking and standing.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
  • Exposure to heat, noise, and chemical fumes in production areas.
  • Good hand and eye coordination and movement.

ITAR Requirement:
Due to ITAR regulations, this position requires the employee to be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident).
