About the Role
We are looking for a creative and dynamic teacher with good interpersonal skills who enjoys working in diverse linguistic and cultural settings.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with the program curriculum and incorporate provided educational materials.
- Teach course content using a student-centered approach.
- Maintain and submit attendance records.
- Communicate regularly with the supervisor.
- Participate in relevant professional development activities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Spanish fluency required.
- Flexible schedule with willingness to work weekends and weekday evenings.
- CPR/AED/First Aid certifications from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with students from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to use digital platforms for instruction, communication, and data recording.
- Willingness and ability to travel independently throughout Connecticut.
COVID-19 Considerations
- Record of completed COVID-19 vaccine or confirmed medical/religious exemption.

Compensation
- $75 per teaching hour.
