Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team at EmergeOrtho. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our physicians in delivering high-quality musculoskeletal care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for physician encounters, ensuring they are comfortable and informed throughout the process.
  • Facilitate lab tests and procedures as needed, maintaining accurate records and communicating results to physicians.
  • Assist with patient documentation, including medical history, test results, and treatment plans.
  • Support physicians in preparing for examinations and minor procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain current certifications and stay up-to-date on best practices.
Requirements
  • High school degree or equivalent required.
  • CMA Certification or equivalent education, certification, licensure, or related degree preferred.
  • Medical training and/or experience in casting or splinting preferred.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
