Job Summary
The District of Columbia seeks a highly skilled Chief Technology Officer to lead its technology organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in information technology and experience in managing large-scale technology projects.

About the Role
The Chief Technology Officer will be responsible for developing and implementing the District's technology strategy, overseeing the development and maintenance of the District's technology infrastructure, and providing technology services and support to District agencies. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, and be able to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders, including government officials, technology vendors, and the public.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement the District's technology strategy
• Oversee the development and maintenance of the District's technology infrastructure
• Provide technology services and support to District agencies
• Collaborate with government officials, technology vendors, and the public to achieve technology goals
• Ensure the District's technology systems are secure, reliable, and efficient
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technology trends and best practices

Requirements
The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, and at least 5 years of experience in a technology leadership role. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in information technology, experience in managing large-scale technology projects, and excellent leadership and communication skills.
