Maintenance Electrician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team at Cross Resource Group. As a Maintenance Electrician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing food processing equipment to ensure optimal production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and maintain electrical systems and equipment throughout the facility.
  • Repair and replace electrical components as necessary.
  • Read electrical diagrams and blueprints to determine layout and work specifics.
  • Install and maintain wiring, control systems, and electrical apparatus in plant machinery.
  • Ensure all work adheres to electrical codes and safety regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs and preventive maintenance (PM) performed.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure production equipment operates efficiently.
Requirements:
  • At least 1-3 years of electrical experience in manufacturing and/or food processing.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
  • Solid understanding of electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
