Job Title: Maintenance Electrician

Join our team as a Maintenance Electrician at Cross Resource Group, where you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food processing equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems and equipment throughout the facility.
  • Repair, replace, and upgrade electrical components as necessary.
  • Read electrical diagrams, blueprints, and sketches to determine layout and work specifics.
  • Install, maintain, and repair wiring, control systems, and electrical apparatus in plant machinery.
  • Ensure all work adheres to electrical codes and safety regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs and preventive maintenance (PM) performed.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure production equipment operates efficiently.
  • Monitor equipment operation and perform necessary adjustments for optimal performance.
  • Follow GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and ensure compliance with safety rules and regulations.
Qualifications:
  • At least 3 years of electrical experience in manufacturing and/or food processing.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
  • Solid understanding of electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work long hours during the production season and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment:

The Ripon plant is a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a focus on producing high-quality canned green beans and carrots. As a Maintenance Electrician, you will work closely with the production team to ensure that equipment is running smoothly and efficiently.

The plant operates on a 12-hour shift schedule, 6 days a week during peak production periods. During the off-season, the schedule shifts to 5 8-hour days or 4 10-hour days per week.

We offer a competitive salary range of $23-$30 per hour, depending on experience and knowledge level.
