We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Service Valet to join our team at Longo Toyota of Prosper. As a Service Valet, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of service guests through our facility.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional guest experience by welcoming and assisting service guests, ensuring their check-in process is seamless and efficient.
- Work closely with Service Consultants to document and address guest questions and concerns during their visit.
- Install and remove disposable seat covers, steering wheel covers, floor mats, and ID tags in all vehicles brought in for service.
- Retrieve guest vehicles from the parking lot and deliver them to the service area.
- Inspect each vehicle for any damage that may have occurred during its stay in the service department.
- Record any external vehicle damage and submit it to designated personnel.
- Follow up with guests to ensure their concerns were resolved.
- Maintain a professional appearance of the sales, service department, and courtesy van.
- Secure the courtesy van on premises at the end of the day.
- Assist with large events, including preparation, organization, and setup.
- Perform other duties as needed to support the team.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is desired.
- A minimum of six months of customer service experience is preferred.
- Ability to operate a manual transmission, coordinate activities with other employees, and work well with the public.
- Must have a valid driver's license and maintain a safe driving record.
The physical demands of this role include:
- Frequent bending, stretching, twisting, or reaching with the body, arms, and/or legs.
- Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Adjusting, moving, and lifting objects up to 50 pounds.
- Moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments.
- Remaining in a stationary position for prolonged periods.
- Operating motor vehicles and/or heavy equipment.
- Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, and poles.
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
