Water Resources Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Water Resources Engineer to join our team at Career Collective in Santa Ana, CA. As a key member of our growing office, you will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative solutions for stormwater management, wetland design, and hydrologic and hydraulic modeling.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop stormwater management systems, including BMPs, open channels, culverts, and erosion and sediment control measures.
  • Perform hydrologic, hydraulic, and water quality analysis and modeling using industry-standard software.
  • Conduct technical calculations and provide recommendations on erosion, drainage, and flooding.
  • Participate in field work, site visits, and data collection to support project development.
  • Prepare permit applications and obtain approvals from local and state agencies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in civil engineering, preferably water resources engineering.
  • EIT highly preferred, PE license a plus.
  • Experience using hydraulic and hydrologic modeling software, including HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, and SWMM.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microstation, OpenRoads, and/or ArcGIS.
