We are seeking a highly skilled Product Engineer to join our team at Generac Power Systems. As a Product Engineer, you will play a critical role in driving the development and improvement of our clean energy products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gain a deep technical understanding of Generac Clean Energy products and provide a critical interface between internal R&D/engineering and product support teams.
  • Take ownership of understanding, recreating, and performing root cause analysis of field issues and work with design engineering teams to develop, specify, and test product improvements.
  • Provide key insights to help define new features and products and play a key role in creating internal and external product documentation.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering and product development, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams is essential.

Physical Demands:

The employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel.
