Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team at Aurora Lakeland Medical Center in Elkhorn, WI. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality CT scans and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform CT scans on patients of all ages, from infants to adults, using various protocols and techniques.
  • Operate CT scanners and other medical equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of CT scanning procedures, protocols, and radiation safety guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure patient comfort and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography (R.T.(R)(CT)) certification.
  • 1+ year of experience in CT scanning, preferably in a hospital or medical imaging setting.
  • Strong knowledge of CT scanning protocols, radiation safety, and patient care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1+ year of experience on Client scanner.
  • McKesson PACS and EPIC EMR experience.
  • Knowledge of IV insertion, OR experience, and patient transport.
