Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced CT Technologist to work in our imaging department. As a travel CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
Responsibilities:
- Operate computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including explaining the procedure and positioning the patient
- Monitor patients during imaging procedures and respond to any emergencies that may arise
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
- Maintain accurate records of patient imaging procedures and results
Requirements:
- Current licensure as a CT Technologist in the state of employment
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to lift and move patients as needed
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
