Job Summary:

LAZ Parking California, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Senior Portfolio Manager to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial and operational performance of assigned portfolios, ensuring 24/7 professional parking management.

Key Responsibilities:

Establish and maintain strong relationships with management account clients to maximize revenue, manage expenses, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Lead, direct, and develop a team of employees to achieve annual and periodic goals, embodying and utilizing LAZ Parking's culture as a guideline.
Screen, interview, hire, and train staff using the LAZ Way approach, scheduling new hires for orientation within 2 weeks of hire.
Develop an effective team for locations, identifying high-potential employees to support the organization's growth.
Manage, plan, schedule, train, and direct the activities of managers, supervisors, and front-line staff, ensuring compliance with company policies, federal, state, and local regulations, and ordinances.
Understand, implement, and deliver all requirements outlined in the contractual agreement between LAZ Parking and clients.
Provide daily, weekly, monthly, and annual financial and operational reports as required.
Implement and complete other projects, programs, and initiatives arising from operations and clients.
Become a subject matter expert with new technology.
Communicate with local police departments and emergency management teams regarding program initiatives.
Ensure locations follow LAZ Audit procedures and meet regional audit goals.
Participate in daily/weekly operational events, including after-hours, holidays, and weekends.
Monitor and review weekly payroll and timekeeping compliance.
Manage, track, analyze overtime percentage, and supply regional leadership with bi-weekly and monthly reports.
Efficiently manage and prioritize communication, answering phone calls and texts promptly, returning phone calls, and replying to emails urgently.
Communicate directly with GM in advance of PTO requests and have an action plan in place for absence, considering operational needs.
Manage Safety & Claims Initiatives and company SOPs.
Ensure employees follow proper claims procedures for documentation and communication.
Attend team meetings, including weekly TA calls, monthly manager meetings, mandatory manager training, and client meetings.
Report immediate employee challenges, concerns, incidents, and accidents to RGM, RVP, and HR.

Requirements:

3+ years in a management role.
Good understanding of P&L.
Excellent people skills and ability to manage positive client relations.
Valid CA Driver's License and safe driving record.
Ability to travel within the West Coast occasionally.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.

Experience:

Proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Positive people management, training, and development of team.
Customer service industry work experience.
Parking Management experience preferred.
Power BI experience preferred.

Physical Demands:

Willingness to work in the elements - heat, cold, wind, rain, etc.
Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 25 pounds.
Ability to stand, walk, and run for extended periods of time.
Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and lift frequently throughout a shift.
