Position Summary

Visa U.S.A. Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves:

  • Acting as the lead testing representative on collaborative project teams, assessing the impact on existing testing methodologies and standards.
  • Advocating for the testing team’s needs regarding tools, training, and support resources.
  • Creating and delivering training sessions for the global testing team, while also developing and maintaining automation scripts and comprehensive testing documentation.
  • Serving as a global Subject Matter Expert (SME) in designated areas of expertise.
  • Working closely with developers and QA leads to enhance testability, automation processes, and tool efficiency. Identifying and resolving system issues in collaboration with functional and development teams as necessary.
  • Providing ongoing mentorship and support to less experienced Global Client Testing (GCT) team members.
  • Coordinating efforts with a globally distributed team.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • This position is based in our office and may offer partial remote work options.
Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering or a related discipline, accompanied by 8 years of relevant experience in software testing or a related field.
  • Familiarity with MVS, VIP, RSI, and CORE/Config systems.
  • Experience with ISO 8583 messaging protocols.
  • Ability to read log prints and troubleshoot financial messages, including 01xx/02xx codes.
  • Knowledge of API messaging and tools such as Splunk logs.
  • Experience with payment testing simulators like VTS-VIP.
Additional Information

Work Environment: This is a hybrid role, allowing for a combination of remote and in-office work. Employees are expected to be present in the office for a set number of days each week, based on business needs.

Travel Requirements: Travel may be necessary for this position.

Mental/Physical Requirements: The role will be performed in an office environment, requiring the ability to sit and stand at a desk, communicate effectively in person and via telephone, and operate standard office equipment.
