In the role of Lead Educator, you will be accountable for the well-being and safety of the children entrusted to you, while cultivating a supportive and enriching educational space. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the center's culture and serve as a positive example for our staff, families, and the broader community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the effective operation and welfare of the facility, ensuring compliance with ratios and supervision at all times.
  • Exemplify and adhere to the policies, procedures, and core values of the organization, including the NAEYC Code of Ethics.
  • Design and implement developmentally appropriate educational experiences through storytelling, interactive centers, music, games, and activities aimed at enhancing motor skills.
  • Guide students in adhering to classroom rules and procedures.
  • Assess and monitor student progress throughout the academic year.
  • Communicate progress and concerns with professionalism to parents and administrative staff.
  • Additional responsibilities as required.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
  • Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education is preferred
  • A minimum of two years of professional experience in early childhood education
  • Outstanding communication, teaching, and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to positively impacting children's lives
  • Strong decision-making abilities
