Job Title: Component Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Component Engineer to join our team at Conflux Systems. As a Component Engineer, you will be responsible for creating and authoring technical service content intended for use by technical service personnel, including customer service engineers, technical support engineers, and technical training centers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and author technical service content, including installation, maintenance, and calibration procedures for SPECT and SPECT/CT systems.
  • Develop and implement service content using extended reality (augmented reality) technologies.
  • Perform verification, acceptance, and validation tests for service content.
  • Preempt potential problems and provide effective solutions.
  • Interact with PLM, Product Management, Manufacturing, Marketing, Sales, and other business units to drive service business goals of new and existing MI products.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Strong understanding of technical content creation, including written, multimedia, and extended reality content.
  • Ability to create diagrams, flowcharts, and drawings for inclusion in document content.
  • Ability to create and manipulate digital images for inclusion in document content.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills required.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical instructions in an easy-to-understand and digest format.
  • Strong understanding of complex system design and development process, including product requirement engineering.
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment as part of a team.
  • Strong quality orientation and customer focus.
  • Strong Electro-Mechanical Knowledge and Skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Engineering knowledge and/or experience.
  • Understanding of safety around large electro-mechanical equipment.
  • Knowledge of extended reality creation software suites.
