Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist II to join our team at Health & Human Services Comm. As a key member of our mental health services team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychological assessments and psychotherapy to patients in need. Your expertise will be invaluable in helping us deliver exceptional care and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

* Administer and interpret psychological tests and conduct diagnostic assessments to identify patients' mental health needs.
* Prepare and review psychological evaluations and reports for completeness and accuracy, ensuring that all relevant information is included.
* Provide individual, group, and family therapies to patients, using evidence-based approaches to promote positive change and well-being.
* Develop and implement special treatment programs to meet the unique needs of our patients, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
* Direct psychological activities and programs, ensuring that they are aligned with our organization's goals and objectives.
* May develop, plan, and deliver training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our staff, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Requirements:

* A Doctoral Degree in Psychology from an accredited institution, with a focus on clinical or counseling psychology.
* Licensure as a Psychologist by the State of Texas or Provisional Licensure, with eligibility to pursue licensure within one year preferred.
* At least one year of experience in an adult patient psychiatric population, with a strong understanding of psychological/personality theory and mental disorders.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals and groups to consult on treatment team functioning.
* A thorough understanding of group process, with the ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve shared goals.
* Knowledge of administration, scoring, and interpretation of psychological tests, including personality and intellectual instruments.
* Ability to convey complex information in a clear and organized manner, using written reports and oral presentations to communicate with colleagues and patients.
