Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Analytical Chemist to join our team at Alliance Technologies. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership in atomic spectroscopy and analytical chemistry, ensuring the highest quality results for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical expertise in ICP, ICP-MS, GF-AAS, and other analytical areas to perform routine and non-routine analysis.
  • Maintain and operate atomic and molecular spectroscopy instruments, including GFAA, ICP-OES, ICP-MS, Microwave Digestion, FTIR, and UV/vis.
  • Develop new methods for trace elemental analysis and ensure the cleanliness and safety of the laboratory.
  • Prepare written project reports and interface with clients as needed.
  • Cross-train other laboratory personnel and ensure cGMP Compliance of the laboratory area.
  • Perform analytical tests on a wide variety of samples accurately and reproducibly.
  • Maintain assigned laboratory instrumentation and supplies.
  • Participate in teams to define and execute analyses for deformulation, product development, quality control, and chemical assay requests.
Requirements
  • B.A./B.S. in Chemistry minimum; MS or PhD in Analytical Chemistry preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years industrial/laboratory experience in Analytical Chemistry.
  • Minimum 1-2 years industrial experience with ICP-OES, ICP-MS, GFAA, and Digestions.
  • Working knowledge of FDA GMPs.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
  • Precise Laboratory Skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and a positive attitude.
