About the Job
We are seeking an OB-GYN physician to join our team at CHI St. Alexius Health Williston. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a collaborative team of physicians and dedicated nursing staff.
- Patient Care:
- Diagnose and Treat Medical Conditions: Provide thorough medical examinations and histories, develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans, and diagnose and treat various medical conditions.
- Communication:
- Communicate Effectively: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, provide clear and concise medical information, and foster a collaborative and patient-centered approach to healthcare.
- Documentation:
- Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, document medical findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans, and ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations.
- Diagnostic Procedures:
- Order and Interpret Diagnostic Tests: Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging, perform procedures as needed, and collaborate with specialists for further diagnostic evaluation.
- Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals: Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals, participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case discussions, and provide consultative services to other healthcare providers.
- Quality Improvement:
- Participate in Quality Assurance Initiatives: Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives, review and analyze clinical outcomes for continuous improvement, and implement changes to enhance patient care and safety.
- Compliance:
- Adhere to Ethical and Legal Standards: Adhere to ethical and legal standards in medical practice, stay informed about healthcare regulations and compliance requirements, and participate in quality audits to ensure adherence to standards.
- Continuous Learning:
- Stay Current with Medical Advancements: Stay abreast of medical advancements and best practices, participate in ongoing medical education and training, and contribute to the development of clinical protocols and guidelines.
Qualifications
American Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology, a valid and unrestricted state medical license or license-eligible.
