We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist II to join our team at Holston Medical Group, PC. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will play a crucial role in producing high-quality radiographs for medical diagnostic purposes.



Main Responsibilities:


  • Perform diagnostic radiology procedures, including setting up and operating x-ray equipment, and positioning patients to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Collaborate with radiologists to perform diagnostic procedures and provide accurate information to patients and other healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient treatments, examinations, views taken, and settings used.
  • Ensure proper power up and utilization of equipment, including warming techniques, to ensure optimal performance.
  • Manage and maneuver radiology equipment, and may be required to work in other offices upon request.


Requirements:


  • Two to five years of RT experience and a thorough knowledge of various medical imaging procedures and equipment.
  • Registered by the ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) and a State of Tennessee license within thirty days of hire.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of radiation safety techniques, including collimation, radiation monitoring, and protection.
  • Operational knowledge of computerized/digital radiography and PACS operating knowledge.
