Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist II to join our team at Holston Medical Group, PC. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will play a crucial role in producing high-quality radiographs for medical diagnostic purposes.
Main Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic radiology procedures, including setting up and operating x-ray equipment, and positioning patients to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
- Collaborate with radiologists to perform diagnostic procedures and provide accurate information to patients and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate records of patient treatments, examinations, views taken, and settings used.
- Ensure proper power up and utilization of equipment, including warming techniques, to ensure optimal performance.
- Manage and maneuver radiology equipment, and may be required to work in other offices upon request.
Requirements:
- Two to five years of RT experience and a thorough knowledge of various medical imaging procedures and equipment.
- Registered by the ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) and a State of Tennessee license within thirty days of hire.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Knowledge of radiation safety techniques, including collimation, radiation monitoring, and protection.
- Operational knowledge of computerized/digital radiography and PACS operating knowledge.
