Job Title: Assistant Property Manager

Salary and Benefits:

The annual salary for this role is estimated to be around $43,200 - $54,000, depending on the location and experience. Additionally, you will receive an excellent benefits package, including employer-paid health benefits, 401(k) investment opportunity, Employee Assistance Program, paid vacation, holiday, and sick time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate resident records, post rents, deposits, and fees as directed by the Community Manager.
  • Issue appropriate notices, such as late payments, evictions, and NSF checks.
  • Make daily bank deposits and prepare reports as delegated by the Community Manager.
  • Greet prospective residents, show the community, and perform leasing functions as necessary.
  • Handle calls from residents and vendors as delegated.
  • Accept service requests and route them to maintenance; conduct follow-up with residents.
  • Inspect property and report service needs to the Community Manager or Service Supervisor.
  • Inspect move-outs and vacant units as requested by the Community Manager.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a position similar to this one or in the industry.
  • Tax credit experience required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
  • Empathy and a commitment to providing excellent service to families and residents.

Preferred Requirements:

  • OneSite software experience is preferred.
  • Fair housing training is also preferred.
