Job Overview

The Executive Director of Operations will oversee the success of a retail store and team by setting high performance and customer service standards. They will provide ongoing coaching and training to team members to reach company objectives, increase revenue, and develop their skills while demonstrating leadership.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Team Development: Coach, lead, and develop all store employees to achieve new business and increase store growth by demonstrating knowledge of and training on systems, company standards, account management, recovery, job duties, and performance reports.
  2. Marketing and Sales: Lead the charge and set an example for all store employees to identify local marketing strategies, use business-to-business partnership opportunities, obtain referrals, host and participate in community and in-store events to steer growth and build revenue.
  3. Quality and Security: Enforce adherence to quality standards, procedures, and local and state laws and regulations. Audit loan/pawn agreements and transactions to ensure staff accordance with procedures and practices. Participate in audits and compliance reviews as directed by the corporate office or District Manager.
  4. Cash Management and Loss Prevention: Supervise and maintain office security including cash management and loss prevention by verifying and documenting cash overages/shortages, vault, inventory, deposits, and expenses. Conduct proper opening and closing procedures.
  5. Lending and Risk Assessment: Examine, evaluate, and process loan/pawn applications and all relevant transactions, and assess risk within established limits.
  6. Talent Acquisition and Retention: Participate in the selection, review, hiring, and retention of new employees.
  7. Scheduling and Store Appearance: Develop work schedules in accordance with budget, workloads, and store needs. Ensure store is staffed for optimal performance. Monitor and maintain internal and external store appearance and address basic facilities needs, including scheduling maintenance services.
  8. Customer Service: Handle complex customer situations that arise with integrity and professionalism.
