Job Title: Full Time Dispensing Nurse

BAART Program is seeking a detail-oriented and empathetic Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team as a Full Time Dispensing Nurse. As a key member of our treatment team, you will be responsible for dispensing prescribed medications to patients in a comfortable outpatient clinic setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer daily medication to patients in accordance with program policy and medical protocols.
  • Maintain dispensing equipment, manage medication inventory, and report patient treatment information.
  • Collaborate with supervisory counseling staff to provide non-judgmental and accepting care to patients with Substance Use Disorder.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards for the distribution and storage of controlled substances.
  • Order, receive, and stock medication in accordance with DEA and State regulations.
  • Provide daily assessment of patients and assist Nursing Supervisor to orient new nursing staff.
Qualifications:
  • Current and good standing LPN/LVN license in the State of Vermont.
  • Current CPR certification required.
  • EMR and computer proficiency desired.
  • Experience in chemical dependency preferred.
  • Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.
