Lincoln Electric is seeking a highly skilled Engineering Technologist to provide technical support to our production team at our Euclid, Ohio headquarters. As an Engineering Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes and the development of new products.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to engineers and production staff on technical issues related to production, operations, maintenance, safety, testing, process improvement, and product development.
- Develop and recommend procedures and methods to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Perform technical evaluations of events to determine root cause and recommend corrective actions.
- Utilize technical data and documentation to perform testing and troubleshooting on electronic and mechanical components, equipment, and systems.
- Gather, maintain, format, compile, and manipulate technical data using established formulae and procedures.
- Operate basic lab equipment, including meters, oscilloscopes, temperature recorders, etc.
- Train, assist, and observe other department personnel on department equipment and processes to improve safety, quality, and manufacturing proficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology or related field.
- Ability to work within defined technical processes and procedures or methodologies.
- Ability to work with a limited degree of supervision, with oversight focused on complex new assignments.
- Good organizational skills and computer skills, proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
