ResponsibilitiesCare Delivery
Receives referrals and evaluates the necessity for patient intervention.
Interprets evaluation results and creates a suitable treatment plan, including goal establishment.
Implements the treatment plan and collaborates with the patient, family, and care team.
Monitors patient progress and adjusts treatment to meet established goals.
Contributes to enhancing patient and employee safety by adhering to all relevant policies and guidelines.
Documents assessment results, treatment procedures, and follow-up actions.
Reviews and assesses the quality of audiology services provided, reporting any issues to the supervising audiologist.
Understands and follows billing and reimbursement protocols as per governmental and third-party requirements.
Immediately reports any compliance concerns to the supervising audiologist or relevant administrative staff.
Utilizes a family-centered approach, considering various factors appropriate to the age of the patients served.
Demonstrates responsible management of resources, including human, fiscal, and material assets.
QualificationsEducation:
Currently enrolled as a fourth-year student in an accredited audiology program.
Experience:
Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
Able to communicate effectively with individuals from diverse professional, educational, and lifestyle backgrounds.
