Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Distribution Technician to assist with inspecting power distribution poles for our clients. As a key member of our team, you'll perform a variety of design-related duties, including system inventories and audits, joint use management and permitting, ground-line pole inspections, lighting audits, and more.

Responsibilities
  • Perform field technical services for the operation, inspection, and maintenance of electrical distribution systems.
  • Collect data using laptop computers, tablet devices, GPS, and other electronic devices.
  • Develop a working knowledge of National Electrical Safety Code (NESC), electric utility construction standards, and telephone, cable, and other communication facilities.
  • Operate necessary equipment to take measurements on utility poles and mid-span facilities.
  • Achieve weekly billable goals as defined by project guidelines.
Qualifications
  • Must be 21 years of age with a clear and valid driver's license.
  • High School Diploma.
  • No experience required.
  • No certifications required.
