Job Duties- Evaluate assigned patients and plan, implement, and document nursing care
- Assist physicians during examinations and procedures
- Perform various patient tests and administer medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse
- Promote patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills
- Relies on experience and judgment to perform a variety of tasks and accomplish goals
- Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited RN program. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Texas, or license with a compact state required upon hire
- Approved Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications are required within 90 days of hire
- TNCC required within one year of hire
- A minimum of two (2) years of RN experience in an acute care setting

Cedar Park Regional Medical Center is a Level IV Trauma Center with a Primary Stroke Center at the main campus in Cedar Park and a Free Standing Emergency Center in Leander. We provide a complete range of emergency diagnostic services, including full-service labs, digital x-ray, CT scan, and ultrasound capabilities.
