About the Role:

As a vital member of our veterinary team, you will provide exceptional care to our animal patients while fostering strong relationships with their owners. Your expertise will be crucial in delivering comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental services, ensuring each pet receives the highest standard of care in a stress-free environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish rapport with clients to understand their needs and preferences; conduct thorough physical examinations and perform diagnostic, medical, surgical, and dental procedures with a focus on minimizing stress for the patient.
  • Communicate examination findings clearly to clients, providing a diagnosis and developing a tailored treatment plan; educate clients on preventive health measures, including vaccinations and nutritional guidance.
  • Maintain accurate medical and surgical records, ensuring compliance with established protocols; collaborate with colleagues for effective patient follow-up and management.
  • Stay informed about advancements in veterinary medicine and participate in Continuing Education opportunities.
  • Support the development of the veterinary support team to enhance the quality of care and client service.
  • Represent the hospital positively within the professional community and to the public.
  • Treat every client as family and every patient as your own pet.
Qualifications:
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Active licensure to practice veterinary medicine.
  • Professional demeanor and appearance, coupled with excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly attitude.
  • Ability to make informed decisions and communicate effectively with team members.
  • Respectful and willing to collaborate with clients and their pets.
  • Compassionate team player dedicated to maintaining a strong reputation with clients.
  • Commitment to practicing high-quality medicine in accordance with veterinary ethics.
  • Experience in surgical procedures is advantageous.
