Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Special Education: Possess a Master's degree in Special Education or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Georgia Teaching License: Hold a current Georgia teaching license in the required content area.
  • Experience Working with Students with Disabilities: Have a proven track record of working with students with diverse learning needs, including those with ADD and behavior and emotional disabilities.
  • Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues, parents, and students.
  • Knowledge of Special Education Laws and Regulations: Possess a thorough understanding of special education laws and regulations, including the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).
