Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

Host Healthcare is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team for a travel assignment in Illinois.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing patients' respiratory status, developing and implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients' respiratory status and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Administer respiratory therapy treatments, including oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, and mechanical ventilation
  • Monitor patients' response to therapy and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Document patient information and treatment plans in a timely and accurate manner
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of Illinois
  • 1+ year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist in a hospital setting
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for long periods
