Speech Instructor

We are seeking a dynamic and engaging Speech Instructor to join our team at the University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana. As a Speech Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching college-level and concurrent credit Speech courses, serving as an academic advisor, and working closely with Arts, Humanities, & Education division members to promote student success.

• Teach college-level and concurrent credit Speech courses
• Serve as an academic advisor
• Work closely with Arts, Humanities, & Education division members, dean, tutoring staff, and other College personnel to promote student success
• Serve on department and university committees
• Participate in planning, assessment, and professional development
• Teach on the Hope and Texarkana campuses
• Evening duties may be required

• Master's degree with 18 graduate hours in Communications required
• Teaching experience in this area is preferred
• Preferred consideration will be given to applicants who have experience in and are interested in teaching concurrent credit, online, and/or site-to-site via Blackboard Collaborate

Base salary $36,000. Commensurate with education and experience. Benefits eligible.
