Job Title: Faculty Instructor - Speech

The University of Arkansas System is seeking a dynamic and engaging Faculty Instructor - Speech to join our team at the University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana. As a key member of our Arts and Humanities department, you will be responsible for teaching college-level and concurrent credit Speech courses, as well as serving as an academic advisor and working closely with division members, dean, tutoring staff, and other College personnel to promote student success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach college-level and concurrent credit Speech courses
  • Serve as an academic advisor
  • Work closely with Arts, Humanities, & Education division members, dean, tutoring staff, and other College personnel to promote student success
  • Participate in planning, assessment, and professional development
  • Teach on the Hope and Texarkana campuses
  • Evening duties may be required
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree with 18 graduate hours in Communications required
  • Teaching experience in this area is preferred
  • Preferred consideration will be given to applicants who have experience in and are interested in teaching concurrent credit, online, and/or site-to-site via Blackboard Collaborate
